FULL FIELD OF VIEW MICROLED HEADLAMP BEAM

On VISION 2021 Lumileds demonstrated the first time a headlamp design for a full field-of-view beam utilizing our latest innovation of MicroLED. The mockup uses three modules:

A foreground module realizing a flat cut-off line with our LUXEON NeoExact
A MicroLED module delivering a 20k-pixel resolution useful to perform kink, HB spot swiveling and any kind of road projections,
and an 18-pixel ADB module utilizing our LUXEON NeoExact in order to complete the full field of view.

All 3 modules are using the close-die/pixel arrangement enabling the direct imaging concept for a most compact design.
