San Jose, CA – Lumileds today introduced its latest generation of the LUXEON 3014 LED, which simplifies the design of architectural channel lights, linear fixtures and signage with the highest efficiency and excellent quality of light. The upgraded LEDs provide 10% higher efficacy than the previous generation. “The LUXEON 3014 package is a workhorse LED for linear lighting, especially in the retail environment, where we added a 95CRI upgrade to provide the most attractive replacement for halogen lighting,” said Mei Yi, Product Marketing Manager at Lumileds.
The LUXEON 3014 LED provides a typical flux of 28 lumens when driven at 60mA (3000K 80CRI) and delivers an efficacy of 158 lm/W. Offered in 80CRI, 90CRI and now 95CRI, these LEDs are hot color targeted at a temperature of 65°C to ensure outstanding color accuracy in the application. The LUXEON 3014 fits in a standard 3.0mm x 1.4mm socket, enabling compatibility with existing compact designs. The LED is available in a wide range of color temperatures and color rendering index (CRI) specifications.
