CEO Steve Barlow brings more than 30 years of business development, sales, marketing and general management experience in the semiconductor and LED lighting industries. Mr. Barlow brings a strong track record of leadership, market vision, business growth, customer and market development.

Prior to rejoining Lumileds, Mr. Barlow served as SVP of global sales and business development responsible for Cree’s lighting division products, channels, revenue and ecommerce business. His background includes various sales and sales management roles in HP’s semiconductor products group. He also served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Intematix Corporation, where he was responsible for the LED phosphor material and lighting component company’s commercial functions including global sales, marketing, application engineering, customer service, business development and distribution.  He first joined Lumileds in 2003, helping to build its LED automotive, camera flash, display and lighting businesses as head of sales and marketing.

Mr. Barlow holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.

Tom Constantino, CFO, brings his more than three decades of financial experience and leadership to Lumileds. Tom began his career with Price Waterhouse, where he earned his CPA license and served some of Silicon Valley’s most distinguished technology companies.

The majority of Mr. Constantino’s career has been with best-in-class technology-related companies (both publicly traded and privately owned). He is highly skilled in driving transformational change in order to improve financial performance through margin improvement, cost control, and organizational efficiencies.

While at Hitachi, Tom was instrumental in the spin-out and sale of its $6B hard drive storage business to Western Digital and went on as CFO to support multiple strategic acquisitions. At new technology companies, including Iron Ox and Lime Scooters, he developed systems, processes, and teams needed to enable scale and access to capital markets.

Mr. Klein brings well-established experience in leading Culture, Performance, Leadership and Talent development initiatives to his role as Lumileds Chief HR Officer. Mr. Klein joined Lumileds 3 years ago as sr. Director Talent & Org Development, after which he was given global HR responsibility for our Automotive BU before becoming CHRO.

Prior to joining Lumileds, Mr. Klein served as Global Head for Leadership development, Executive recruitment, Talent & performance Management at NN Group. Before joining NN Group, Mr. Klein held various HR leadership and management positions at ING Group and American Express.

Mr. Klein holds a bachelor degree in International Management from the Amsterdam School of Business in the Netherlands as well as a degree in Business Administration (Diplom Betriebswirt)  from the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund, Germany.

Dr. Vaidyanathan is the SVP Worldwide R&D and has the Technology Development, Product Development & CTO teams reporting into him. His previous role was SVP TD for Die, Packaging and Converter. Prior to joining Lumileds, Dr. Vaidyanathan held leadership positions in Technology Development, Fabless Supplier Management and NPI Operations at companies including Intel, JDSU, and Xilinx. He joined Lumileds in 2015 to lead Device Technology Development and in 2019 added responsibility for Packaging TD. Dr. Vaidyanathan has over 30-years of experience in the Semiconductor, Photonics and LED industries.

Dr. Vaidyanathan holds MS and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University and a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Bombay University.

Oleg Shchekin is the Chief Technology Officer of Lumileds and is responsible for technology roadmap and incubating new technologies and product concepts that enable Lumileds to lead the industry. Oleg brings over 20 years of innovation, technical development and organizational leadership in semiconductors and LEDs to his role. Dr. Shchekin joined Lumileds in 2005 and has held a number of technical and leadership roles. He has guided LED product efficiency roadmaps, phosphor materials development, incubated and transferred new technologies and products to development, and established and developed a number of technical competencies in R&D. Dr. Shchekin’s previous professional experience includes epitaxial semiconductor crystal growth, semiconductor lasers, and flexible organic semiconductor integrated circuits. His work has been recognized by various awards as well as industry review journals.
 
Dr. Shchekin holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. degree in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mr. Posselt began his career in HP’s optoelectronics division and was part of the team that developed and launched the first high power LED – LUXEON. With over 25-years of experience in the LED industry leading product development, product marketing, channel marketing, business development, and strategic marketing in the illumination and automotive industries, Mr. Posselt now holds the position of Vice President of LED Marketing for Lumileds.

Prior to Mr. Posselt’s current tenure at Lumileds, he spent a combined 11 years at HP and Lumileds, transitioning from HP to Lumileds when it was formed in 1999. Mr. Posselt returned to Lumileds in 2021 after several years after holding commercial and marketing leadership roles at Intematix and Bridgelux.

Mr. Posselt is based in San Jose, California. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr.Dijk, vice president of Global Sales for Lumileds has more than 15 years of experience in the automotive OEM industries with Philips and Lumileds. Mr. Dijk held global roles in purchasing, outsourcing, product management, and international sales with Lumileds. As vice president for global sales, he is responsible for the worldwide auto OEM and LED sales in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Before joining Lumileds, Dijk held various purchasing, outsourcing, and product management roles at Philips. Throughout his career, Mr. Dijk has extensive skillsets in financial modeling, portfolio and product management, marketing and sales, and short- and long-term strategic planning.

Mr. Dijk holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Eindhoven University of Technology.

Mr. Ortmanns brings his accomplished and extensive experience to Lumileds to lead the company’s operations and continue the company’s commitment to quality, reliability, and customers.

Before rejoining Lumileds, Mr. Ortmanns served as COO & SVP Operations, Connectivity & Cloud Solutions at Celestica where he was responsible for global operations, including all manufacturing sites for the Connectivity & Cloud Solutions business unit across Asia, the Americas, and Europe with a team of 17,000 people. Prior to Celestica and in addition to a previous tenure with Lumileds, Jascha gained experience working for Philips Semiconductors (now NXP), SunPower, and Osram.

Mr. Ortmanns holds a Master of Sciences in Physics from the University of Aachen (RWTH), Germany.
